Children at Epworth Village Methodist Church Kindergarten Day Nursery are not our first but our one and only because we are all unique creations of God with different personalities, emotions, set of moral values, level of intelligence and appearances. We treat every child with love, and show respect and appreciation for their qualities. We unleash their individual potential by providing a positive learning environment with a variety of teaching resources. By creating an interactive learning atmosphere, we instil a love of learning in children, trigger their curiosity, nurture in them an exploratory mind, thereby helping them construct knowledge.
Meanwhile, we believe that gaining good morals are more important than grades. This is because the school is the epitome of community. As children interact with teachers and their peers, they learn more about how to get along well with others, respect others and face difficulties with a positive attitude. From school, children will learn to follow rules, be polite and understanding, show care for others and share with others.
We are devoted to promoting life education and moral education. “Education” is not just about teaching by examples and explaining in words, but also about love. Love means acceptance, consideration and forgiveness.
